This album brought us an absolute new Sunggyu along with his
own kind of music, but this was an album of sadness as well.
He used to say that this album came unexpectedly. One day,
his boss called him and announced that he would let him debut as a soloist. At that time, he was a
little bit worried, scared but happy cuz this album could bring a new Sunggyu
and his music to listeners. Then, a red-hair Sunggyu who made people fall in
love was steadily created.
However, though he put all efforts as well as hope into this
first album, it still made him sad for a while. I don't know what people think
and how they enjoy music, but to me, I adore this album, I love every songs,
every melodies, every feelings that was expressed through his voice. But unlike
me, some people didn't enjoy it and started to speak scornfully of him and made
him hurt.
During that time, he was both happy and sad. The more he
loved this album, the more people disrespected it. Not only netizens but also
his friends, his acquaintances made fun with it and considered it as his
failure. He had to use smiles to conceal tiredness with the hope that people
would not ridicule his album anymore.
Gradually, he became scared of performing any songs in the
album Another Me due to the word 'Failure' which engraved deeply on his mind.
In "4things show", he said that he had been really upset though
everything had pass over for a long time. That's why Another Me was his hope,
his respect and also a reason to put him under pressure. However, now he can
smile truthfully cuz he has proved himself for everyone that he deserved better
things than criticism.

days, all of these above require me to close my eyes and enjoy, even do not
dare to neglect in case would not perceive the whole wonders. Kim Sunggyu might
come to you by many ways, but to me, Another Me was the beginning that made me
became his fan and started to listen to his voice every single day. Although so
many people said this to him, I still want to say it once again : "Another
Me is such a very very marvelous album".
